Fascia board is important as they carry the weight of the gutters and water in them. The fascia board is the visual board attached to the end of the roof rafters.
If your gutters are leaking or constantly overflowing it is a good bet that these boards have been exposed to water and potential rot. Often we are not able to determine the extent of damage to these boards until the existing gutters have been removed.
On occasion all the boards will need replacement, but it is more common that only sections especially at corners need replacement, helping to keep costs low.
